Senior Security Engineer, DeFi

About the role

Monitor the Sui DeFi ecosystem for security and economic risks, build security analysis tools, assess protocol compliance, and identify vulnerabilities before they are exploited. Coordinate with external protocol teams and Mysten Labs products on due diligence and incidents, and produce evidence-based findings, reports, and runbooks. Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, plus at least three years of hands-on security, smart contract security, or DeFi risk engineering experience. Candidates should understand DeFi mechanisms and failure modes, be proficient in TypeScript and Python, be comfortable with Rust and SQL, and be able to analyze smart contract code and communicate findings effectively.
